Rental Facilities

Thank you so much for interest in renting the Prince Edward Yacht Club for your upcoming event. Our details are listed below and our rental agreement is attached. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details, availability and a tour of our premises.
Main Hall
The spacious Main Hall with the Member’s Lounge can accommodate up to a maximum of 144 persons (staff included). The Main hall can sir 98 people maximum utilizing long tables.

If you require a smaller space our comfortable Chart Room with a beautiful view of the harbour is great for birthday celebration, reunions, bridal showers, seminars, committee/board meetings, and special events. The room can accommodate a maximum of 25 people.

Rental Rates:

Evening Event:  Main Hall / Lounge / Kitchen, After 5pm, 2 bartenders included.
Members – $125.00 + $16.25 = $141.25
Non- Members – $225.00 + $29.95 = $254.25

Day Meeting:  Main Hall / Lounge / Kitchen, 9am to 5pm, 1 staff member included.
Members – $125.00 + $16.25 = $141.25
Non- Members – $175.00 + $22.75 = $197.75

Anytime Rental: Chart room rental, 1 staff member included.
Members/Non-Members- $70.00+ $9.10= $79.10

Kitchen Rental: 9am to 5pm, 1 staff member included.
Members – $125.00 + $16.25 = $141.25
Non – Members – $160.00 + $20.80 = $180.80 (Note: based on $20/hr)

Weddings: (Members) Main Hall/Lounge/Kitchen
Full day/evening rental for setup/ceremony/reception        $150.00+$19.50=$169.50
Full day/evening plus day before set up (before 5pm)           $175.00+$22.75=$197.95
Full day/evening plus day before set up /rehearsal dinner   $200.00+$26.00=$226.00
Chart Room, day of ceremony/additional costs                       $25.00+3.25=$28.25

Weddings: (Non-Members) Main Hall/Lounge/Kitchen
Full day/evening rental for setup/ceremony/reception        $225.00+$29.95=$254.25
Full day/evening plus day before set up (before 5pm)           $250.00+$32.50=$282.50
Full day/evening plus day before set up /rehearsal dinner   $300.00+$39.00=$339.00
Chart Room, day of ceremony/additional costs                       $50.00+6.50=$56.50

 

Please note: All rentals are at the discretion of Management
Rentals include: chairs, tables, dishes, cutlery, glasses, urns for coffee/tea/hot water, ovens, dishwasher, some decorations.
Not included: linens (tablecloths, napkins, etc.), room decorations

Food/Caterer:
We have a large kitchen with two commercial gas stoves, dishwasher, sinks, fridge and small freezer space.
Pot lucks are acceptable. It is the renters responsibility to hire a caterer. Premises must be left clean, trash emptied and all personal food stuffs removed at the end of the event. Please make sure to supply your own food storage containers/plastic wrap.

Music:
We have a sound system that can be used for personal music. The main hall can accommodate a DJ or a small band. It is the renters responsibility to hire these professionals and to ensure that all equipment is removed from the premises the night of the event.
Please be to advise the Club staff in advance if you are hiring any of the above and their required setup time.

Hall Setup:
We are a self help club and it is greatly appreciated that the renter helps wit the set up and organization of the table and chairs for the event.

Non-Alcoholic & Alcoholic Beverages:
We have a fully stocked bar with a variety of choice of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you require non-stocked beverages we will attempt to order these beverages for you. Pricing will be established at the time of the order. Special wine orders can be accommodated but a corkage fee of $7.50 per 750ml bottle plus HST will be charged.

Agreement and Payment:
A venue is not considered booked until a signed copy of the agreement has been received by the Club. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due when registering for the event, with the remaining amount due on the date of the event. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, e-transfer VISA and MasterCard. Credit card payments will be accepted via the telephone.
